About Me
As Editor-in-Chief of the student-powered journal on Pellissippi State Community College’s campuses, I work every week to put together a great edition for the students/faculty. Other than that, I acted in Scarlett Prater’s newest film, The Butcher’s Daughter, and work night shift at Home Depot.
I specialize in writing, both fictional and journalistic, and I’ve grown a lot as an editor over the last few semesters. I also love listening to music and watching films, so that’s what I’m usually doing off the clock!
Short Stories
II’ve written some short stories, mostly in the form of horror or psychological drama, always incorporating a deeper message about why people treat others badly.
Stuff I've Published to the Journal
In addition to my fictional work, I’ve also published my journalistic work to Imaginary Gardens… (I am in charge, after all). I’ve done mostly reviews of play, films, and music, but am interested in doing a lot more as I engage with the community around the school.
Other Work
I’ve also worked on music (I play guitar and have training in metal vocals), and have worked with some local musicians on their stuff. I’ve also written a spec script for a sequel to Scarlett’s film, as well as some miscellaneous other stuff.
